Job summary

Roberts Oxygen, headquartered in Rockville, MD, is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to partner with hiring managers to source, evaluate, and select top talent across our industrial, medical, and specialty gas divisions.

The role covers full lifecycle recruiting, job postings, screening, offers, background checks, and maintaining ATS records; you will advise managers on pay, promotions, and benefits while reporting key recruiting metrics and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience in the HR field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing full life-cycle recruiting supporting transportation, retail, and/or industrial positions.
• Experience using an ATS; Workable preferred; system implementation a plus.
• Must have attention to detail and ability to work independently with a results focus.
• Excellent writing skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Job description

Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our headquarters in Rockville, MD.

The ideal Recruiting Specialist has experience working with hiring managers to effectively source, attract, evaluate, and select the best talent. As the Recruiting Specialist you will help to build exceptional teams that move our business forward.

• Provides full cycle recruitment services to include creating job postings, sourcing, screening, and generation of employment offers
• Develop job descriptions, job postings, and employment advertising, as well as coordination of criminal background checks, drug screening, and completion of reference checking
• Conduct interviews and evaluate prospective candidates
• Utilizes and maintains accurate records and proper documentation within the ATS, assists with new module upgrades and process implementations
• Advises Managers and Employees on employment practices, pay and other remuneration matters, including promotions, transfers, and benefits
• Compile, maintain, analyze, and report on data related to recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, new hires, cost per hire, fill rate, and related metrics
• Maintain an effective level of business literacy about branch’s jobs, and the company’s financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and competition
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or related experience in the HR field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing full life‑cycle recruiting which support a transportation, retail, and/or industrial sales positions in a geographically dispersed environment. Consulting/retained recruiting experience is also favorable.
• Experience utilizing an ATS; Workable preferred, system implementation is a plus
• Must have a high disposition for details and the ability to monitor one’s own work to ensure accuracy and quality. Ability to work independently with a focus on results
• Good writing skills are essential
• Must be change oriented and easily adapt to a dynamic environment

• Excellent base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 and quarterly bonus opportunities
