Roberts Oxygen in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You will provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers, with a passion for selling and knowledge of welding products.

This role emphasizes greeting walk-ins, processing transactions, maintaining inventory, supporting sales staff, and ensuring showroom displays are up to date. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inside sales and customer service, or welding experience
• Greet and assist walk-in visitors and customers; answer phones professionally
• Proven customer service experience through respectful interactions about services, products and invoices
• Process customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships
• Support Sales staff by providing timely customer information, follow-up scheduling, and branch coverage
• Maintain inventory levels and showroom displays; keep showroom clean and organized
• Safely move and load cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
• Commitment to high performance through attendance and safety

Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

You have proven skills in providing excellent and effective customer service assisting both external and internal customers. Your passion is selling and you have general knowledge of welding products and hardgoods.

Skills and experience requirements

• 2 years of insides sales and customer service, or welding experience
• Immediately and politely greet and assists walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
• Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices
• Efficiently processes customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability
• Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage
• Timely communicates and coordinates with Store Manager to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained. Receives and updates inventory, stocks shelves, counters, tables, and maintains showroom displays. Maintains show room and location cleanliness.
• Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
• Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits, Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• High school education or equivalent - Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain
• If selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings
