Roberts Oxygen in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, sales strategy, inventory control, and customer service excellence. You will drive growth by maximizing resources, ensuring safety, accuracy, and professional service across all store activities.

You bring at least 3 years of sales or related experience in compressed and medical gases, strong computer skills with FACTS and Microsoft Office, and a valid CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• CDL license preferred; hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; able to obtain within 3 months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess store area potential and set annual business goals for growth.
• Forecast store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution.
• Supervise inside sales, distribution, and routing of trucks; coordinate with Fill Plant Supervisor.
• Manage distribution and routing of drivers and trucks.
• Process end-of-day sales reports, deposits, and orders.
• Oversee store inventory and merchandising in retail/branch store.
• Maintain customer relations and understand customer needs and interests.
• Stay informed about products, services, and industry trends.

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Assesses store area potential and develops annual store business goals to ensure continued development of current business and the addition of new business
• Responsible for store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution forecast
• Supervises inside sales, distribution, and routing of trucks. Communicate with the Fill Plant Supervisor to fulfill distribution needs. Develops strong internal working relations creating partnerships to resolve conflicts between employees or departments. Assists in vacation scheduling and branch staff training
• Responsible for distribution and routing of drivers and trucks
• Processes end of day sales report, daily deposits, open orders and confirmation of all tickets
• Manages and monitors store inventory and properly merchandise goods in the retail/branch store
• Effectively advocates, questions, and listens to acquire information on needs, wants, position, and interests of the customer - represents the Company and proactively maintains customer relations
• Stays aware of current products, services, and industry trends
• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry
• Strong computers skills and usage of FACTS and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet searching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Class A or B CDL driver’s license with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; ability to obtain such within 3 months
• Excellent driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
