Job summary

Roberts Oxygen in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Store Manager to lead the store's sales, operations, and customer relations. You will drive annual goals, monitor profits and contribution, and supervise inside sales, distribution, and routing of trucks.

A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and professionalism is required. The role demands at least 3 years in sales within the compressed/medical gases industry, plus proficiency in FACTS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with FACTS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet search)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• CDL Class A or B with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; ability to obtain within 3 months
• Excellent driving record; able to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Assess store area potential and develop annual store business goals for growth
• Forecast store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution
• Supervise inside sales, distribution, and routing of trucks; coordinate with Fill Plant Supervisor
• Manage distribution and routing of drivers and trucks; resolve inter-department conflicts
• Process end-of-day sales reports, deposits, open orders, and ticket confirmations
• Manage store inventory and proper merchandise presentation in retail/branch store
• Engage with customers to understand needs; represent the company professionally
• Stay informed about products, services and industry trends

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Assesses store area potential and develops annual store business goals to ensure continued development of current business and the addition of new business
• Responsible for store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution forecast
• Supervises inside sales, distribution, and routing of trucks. Communicate with the Fill Plant Supervisor to fulfill distribution needs. Develops strong internal working relations creating partnerships to resolve conflicts between employees or departments. Assists in vacation scheduling and branch staff training
• Responsible for distribution and routing of drivers and trucks
• Processes end of day sales report, daily deposits, open orders and confirmation of all tickets
• Manages and monitors store inventory and properly merchandise goods in the retail/branch store
• Effectively advocates, questions, and listens to acquire information on needs, wants, position, and interests of the customer - represents the Company and proactively maintains customer relations
• Stays aware of current products, services, and industry trends
• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry
• Strong computers skills and usage of FACTS and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet searching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to lift 75 pounds
