Hex is hiring a Recruiting Operations Manager in New York to own the systems, data, and programs powering our hiring. You will architect and scale the recruiting stack, enforce data hygiene, and drive AI-enabled automation while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

You will report to the Head of Talent and collaborate with Finance, People Operations, and Data to deliver measurable improvements each quarter.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in recruiting operations, talent operations, or related People Ops/analytics roles.
• Deep hands-on expertise with an ATS (Ashby) as an admin and workflow builder.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable owning recruiting data, dashboards, and funnel metrics.
• Experience building internal tools, automations, or workflow experiments to solve problems.
• Track record of turning manual processes into scalable, adopted workflows.
• Experience implementing AI-powered recruiting automation and guiding its use.

Responsibilities

• Architect the recruiting system end-to-end, including ATS, sourcing, scheduling, and assessment tools.
• Own data by building dashboards, improving data hygiene, and partnering on headcount planning.
• Ship AI and automation with architecture behind it and define measurable impact.
• Run experiments to test sourcing, interviews, and automation with a focus on quality, not just speed.
• Protect the candidate experience with scheduling SLAs, clear communications, and human-centered automation.
