Job summary

Hex Technologies is seeking a Recruiting Operations Manager to own the systems, data, and programs powering hiring. You will architect the tech stack, design scalable workflows, and drive automation that frees recruiters to focus on judgment and relationships.

You’ll build analytics, enforce data hygiene, and partner across Finance, People Operations, and Data to align headcount plans with pipeline realities. A strong emphasis on AI-enabled improvements shapes the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in recruiting operations, talent operations, or related People Ops/analytics.
• Deep hands-on ATS expertise as an admin and workflow builder (Ashby preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with dashboards and funnel metrics; SQL/BI a plus.
• Proven track record building internal tools, automations, or workflow experiments.
• Experience turning messy processes into scalable, documented workflows.
• Experience implementing AI-powered recruiting automation and judicious use.
• Ability to partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to action; able to shape the function's playbook.

Responsibilities

• Architect the recruiting system end to end: ATS, sourcing, scheduling, and assessment tools.
• Design and improve the hiring workflow from intake to close, automating steps where possible.
• Make build-versus-buy and consolidate-versus-keep decisions for the stack.
• Build analytics that leadership uses: pipeline health, funnel conversion, time-to-fill.
• Enforce data hygiene and reporting standards so numbers are trusted.
• Partner with Finance and People on headcount planning and req management.
• Identify AI opportunities, implement them thoughtfully, and measure impact.
• Create reusable workflows with guardrails and define human-in-the-loop boundaries.
• Run experiments on sourcing, interview structures, and automation; measure quality gains.
