Job summary

Hex is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support candidate experience and build the operational foundation that enables fast, quality hiring. You will coordinate interviews with multiple teams, manage candidate communication, and help scale recruiting processes.

The role requires exceptionally organized, proactive individuals who thrive in a startup. You’ll partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and leaders, and work from our San Francisco office at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in recruiting coordination or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong sense of urgency with speed and quality.
• Comfortable with senior leaders and changing schedules.
• Meticulous with time zones, bookings and swaps.
• Self-directed in a fast-moving environment.
• Genuine interest in hiring and people operations.
• Willingness to work from SF office at least 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Own interview scheduling and coordination across teams, including onsite and virtual loops.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to move processes quickly.
• Create a high-touch candidate experience from interview to offer.
• Manage onsite interview logistics and candidate visits to our SF office.
• Keep Ashby, ModernLoop, Notion docs, Juicebox up to date and accurate.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively fix candidate experience issues.
• Build recruiting processes, templates, and systems; apply AI where possible.
• Support onboarding and recruiting events as needed.
