Job Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the talent acquisition process across the organization. This role serves as a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters, ensuring positive candidate experience and efficient recruitment operations. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding activities, maintaining applicant tracking system data, and assisting with recruitment initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00/hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
- Manage job postings across internal and external recruiting platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist recruiters and hiring managers with applicant screening, interview scheduling, and recruitment logistics.
- Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment agreements, and pre-employment documentation.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and new hire paperwork.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Monitor requisition status and maintain recruitment metrics and reports for leadership review.
- Participate in career fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and other recruiting initiatives.
- Assist with developing and maintaining recruiting processes, procedures, and candidate communication templates.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring practices.
- Handle confidential candidate and employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple interviews, requisitions, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment in handling sensitive information.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting coordination, talent acquisition support, human resources, or administrative experience.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruitment scheduling, and onboarding processes preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Domestic travel to U.S. sites required.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
