Job summary

Sequoia Financial Group is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our Organizational Development team. You will support all aspects of the talent acquisition process, coordinate interviews, and ensure a smooth candidate experience while collaborating with hiring managers to uphold high recruitment standards.

You will assist resume reviews, conduct initial screenings, and help hire for roles such as Administrative Assistants and Client Service Associates, contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination or talent acquisition.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on candidate experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate experience.
  • Prepare interview agendas, send confirmations, and share information about the process.
  • Track interview progress and maintain a positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure hiring managers take notes during interviews for consistency.
  • Serve as point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and implement efficient end-to-end talent acquisition processes.
  • Develop templates, guides, and checklists to streamline recruitment activities.
  • Maintain internal systems (Quip and ADP) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop ADP best practices for posting, screening, workflow and follow-up.
  • Identify roadblocks in the hiring process and develop scalable mitigation plans.
  • Manage hiring for Administrative Assistants, Client Service Associates, and other roles; extend offers and coordinate onboarding.

Summary Of The Position
  • The Recruiting Coordinator is a key member of the Organizational Development team, responsible for supporting all aspects of the talent acquisition process. This role ensures a smooth and efficient candidate experience, facilitates interview coordination, and collaboratively works closely with hiring managers to maintain high standards in the recruitment process. The Recruiting Coordinator will be instrumental in enhancing the company's recruitment process by implementing best practices and optimizing end-to-end hiring procedures. This position supports resume review, initial phone screenings, and manages hiring for select roles such as Administrative Assistants and Client Service Associates.
Responsibilities
  • Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring alignment with candidates' and hiring managers' availability.
    • Prepare interview agendas, send confirmation emails, and provide candidates with necessary information about the interview process.
    • Monitor and track the progress of interviews, follow up with candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
    • Ensure hiring managers are taking and documenting notes during interviews for consistency in the selection process.
    • Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Talent Acquisition Process Development
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to create, evaluate, and implement an efficient and effective end-to-end talent acquisition process.
    • Develop standardized templates, guides, and checklists to streamline recruitment activities.
    • Maintain and update internal systems (Quip and ADP) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
    • Develop ADP best practices for role posting, screening, candidate workflow and follow up.
    • Identify potential road blocks within the hiring process and work with stakeholders to develop scalable mitigation plans.
  • Hiring for Select Roles
    • Manage the hiring process for Administrative Assistants, Client Service Associates, and other designated positions.
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
    • Develop and communicate realistic timelines and actionable next steps for stakeholders/hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
    • Extend job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for select hires.
Required Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Industry experience.
