Job summary

Meyer Logistics is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support the daily activities of the recruiting team. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and analytical evaluation of candidates to ensure a good company fit.

Responsibilities include coordinating hiring activities, preparing reports, maintaining candidate databases, onboarding support, and social media/job postings. Eligible candidates should be organized, confidential, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting processes and candidate screening.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Familiarity with HRIS and job boards/social media for recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality work to meet deadlines with or without supervision.
• Interact professionally with employees, customers and vendors.
• Answer and direct telephone calls accordingly.
• Work independently while coordinating with others.
• Assist in reviewing and screening candidates.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and candidate communications.
• Prepare periodic reports, including monthly expenses.
• Assist with employee gifts and onboarding activities.
• Maintain candidate database and post jobs on social platforms.
• Review emails and upload documents into HRIS system.
