Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in the United States is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support driver candidate sourcing and prescreening. The role emphasizes delivering positive candidate experiences, high energy, attention to detail, and reliable follow-up.

The position requires strong communication, familiarity with Salesforce/Oracle, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a Monday–Friday role with two in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience required.
• Prior demonstrated high-touch customer service and follow-up experience required.
• Candidates with prior CDL driver recruiting/recruiting support highly preferred, other general recruiting support will be considered.
• Prior Oracle or other applicant tracking system experience highly preferred.
• Prior experience in mining candidate resume databases and phone screening applicants is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel, and must be internet savvy.
• A sense of humor is helpful, as this can be a stressful job with competing priorities at any given time.
• Qualified candidates must be effective communicators who are not afraid of the phone.

Responsibilities

• Handle all inbound calls to main line.
• Contact and prescreen new leads and applicants.
• Submits motor vehicle record (MVR) checks for driver candidates.
• Schedules phone interviews with hiring specialists.
• Heavy documentation of candidate conversations, primarily within Salesforce and Oracle.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
