Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support the Driver Hiring Center, focusing on candidate sourcing, prescreening, and a positive candidate experience.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and multi-system proficiency, including Salesforce and Oracle. The position is primarily an office-based role with two days per week in the office, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience.
• Prior demonstrated high-touch customer service and follow-up experience.
• Candidates with prior CDL driver recruiting/recruiting support preferred, others will be considered.
• Prior Oracle or other applicant tracking system experience preferred.
• Experience in mining candidate resume databases and phone screening applicants is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; internet savvy.

Responsibilities

• Handle all inbound calls to main line
• Contact and prescreen new leads and applicants
• Submit motor vehicle record (MVR) checks for driver candidates
• Schedule phone interviews with hiring specialists
• Document candidate conversations in Salesforce and Oracle
• Support supervisor with other projects and tasks
