Job summary

Trident Care in Columbus, OH is seeking a dedicated recruiting professional to partner with hiring managers, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the end-to-end hiring process for exempt and nonexempt roles.

The role involves administering assessments, background checks, offers, and negotiations, while leveraging traditional and digital channels to attract top talent. Occasional travel up to 15% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Screens resumes, interviews candidates (phone or in person) and administers assessments and reference/background checks.
• Makes recommendations for hire or not hire and delivers and negotiates employment offers for exempt and nonexempt openings.
• Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and ensures alignment with business goals.
• Uses career fairs, online job fairs, community events, social media, and other channels to attract quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to maximize visibility and candidate flow.
• Manages internal transfer process, coordinating interviews and transfer letters, offers where applicable.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback on the recruiting process.
• Maintains excellent relationships with internal and external clients to meet staffing goals.
• Communicates benefits, compensation, and noncompete terms during offers and onboarding.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and affirmative action requirements.
• Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Keeps resume/file retention aligned with company policy and maintains relevant trade memberships.
• Travel availability expected, approximately 15%.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners directly with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
• Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers and negotiates employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
• Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates.
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, social media, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
• Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
• Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
• Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
• Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
• Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
• Ability to travel as needed; approximately 15%
