Job description

Cointelegraph is seeking a highly driven and creative Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and Web3 space, a passion for connecting great talent with meaningful work, and a proven track record of successful hiring in digital media, tech, or related industries.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for both hands-on recruitment and developing strategic hiring initiatives. You’ll lead end-to-end hiring processes, collaborate closely with hiring managers, and contribute to building a world-class team that drives Cointelegraph’s mission forward. We're looking for someone who can think creatively, act fast, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Location: Remote from Anywhere

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing candidates at various levels (C-level, Heads, Seniors) at directions such as Buss. Dev, Marketing & PR, Product Owners.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed
  • Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates
  • Collaborate with HR team members to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition

Qualifications:

  • Native English, or Professional Proficiency.
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition (C-level, Heads, Seniors) at directions such as Buss. Dev, Marketing & PR, Product Owners.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling positions with qualified candidates, and headhunting.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using ATS and other recruitment software/tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
