Job summary

Gothic Landscape, based in California, is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full recruiting cycle for the Corporate office and construction branches. You will source, screen, interview, extend offers, and onboard new hires, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.

You will utilize job boards, networking, referrals, and community outreach to attract qualified candidates, maintain postings, coordinate screenings, and help improve processes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or related roles.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and collaborating with managers.
• Strong verbal and written communication; organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with ATS and Paycom HRIS; solid MS Office skills.

Our Recruiter will be responsible for all phases of recruitment for the Corporate office and construction branches.

Highlights of what our Recruiter will do:

• Manage the full recruiting cycle for assigned requisitions, from sourcing and screening candidates through interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and company leaders to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies.
• Utilize various recruiting methods, including job boards, networking, referrals, and community outreach, to attract qualified candidates.
• Maintain and manage job postings across external job boards.
• Coordinate and conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and follow-ups while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, community organizations, and industry professionals.
• Assist with recruiting reports, tracking hiring activity, and identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes.
• Support the maintenance and administration of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including troubleshooting and providing training to hiring managers.
• Stay informed of recruiting trends, employment practices, and applicable federal and state employment laws.

Experience and Education Required:

• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• 2-3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and supporting various departments or hiring managers.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to understand hiring manager needs, evaluate candidate qualifications, and provide effective recruitment solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and overcome recruiting challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, such as Paycom, is highly preferred.
