Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates across Pennsylvania.

You will travel to centers, career fairs and events, build a strong candidate pipeline via job boards and social media, conduct interviews, coordinate with Hiring Managers, and help new hires through onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to multitask.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals.
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc.
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns.
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually.
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Following up with candidates during the interview process.
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system.
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees.
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level.
• Training new Service Center employees.
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview
