Job summary

Mustang Cat in Houston is hiring a Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment across Service, Parts, Warehouse, Sales and other operational roles. You will attract and assess top talent and partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and timelines.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of recruiting experience, with strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience (corporate or agency)
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, expectations, and hiring timelines
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and workforce partnerships
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
• Conduct structured phone screens and behavioral interviews
• Coordinate interviews and collect hiring feedback from stakeholders
• Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline activity
• Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience

What You’ll Do as a Recruiter:

As a Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering closely with hiring managers to support operational hiring needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of recruiting experience (corporate or agency)
• Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

• Experience recruiting in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades environments
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce
