Job summary

Mustang Cat is seeking a Rental Coordinator in Northwest Houston to manage daily rental processes from inquiry to billing, ensuring equipment is right and on time while delivering outstanding service.

You will work with customers by phone, email and in person, prepare quotes, coordinate rentals, dispatch transportation, and collaborate with operations to maximize equipment utilization. A degree in business or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technical Studies, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment applications and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person to identify equipment solutions that meet their rental needs.
• Prepare quotes, process rental agreements, and coordinate rental transactions from start to finish.
• Coordinate customer requests and ensure timely fulfillment of rental orders.
• Schedule and dispatch transportation for equipment deliveries, transfers, and returns.
• Utilize internal systems and resources to verify equipment availability and coordinate rentals efficiently.
• Monitor rental contracts, billing, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
• Work closely with operations, service, and other branch personnel to maximize equipment utilization and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating equipment rentals from initial inquiry through billing while ensuring a positive customer experience and supporting efficient branch operations.

What You'll Do as a Rental Coordinator:
