Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Recruiter to join our Honolulu team. You will source talent, interview candidates, and build client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality staffing solutions. Base pay is $62,000 to $65,000 per year plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement of candidates.
• Conduct detailed candidate evaluations to assess qualifications, experience, skills, and culture fit.
• Perform high-volume recruiting activities to identify and engage top talent across multiple industries and functional disciplines.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and direct sourcing efforts.
• Interview prospective candidates to evaluate their qualifications, work history, career goals, and placement potential.
• Promote job opportunities and effectively communicate employment details to candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and placement information within the company's CRM and internal systems.
• Receive and create new job orders from clients, ensuring all requirements and position details are documented accurately.
• Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, workplace culture, and position requirements.
• Conduct client intake discussions and gather information necessary to identify and present qualified candidates.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding activities.
• Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to candidates and employees to support successful placements and retention.

Position Requirements

• Previous experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, talent acquisition, bartending, or serving preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships, engage customers, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online sourcing tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
