Job summary

Pride Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to help us find great people and give them a great start. You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting, post jobs, screen applicants, and conduct interviews to assess fit.

You’ll partner with supervisors and HR to place candidates, coordinate onboarding, and track training and 7/15/30/60/90 day check-ins, ensuring a smooth start for new teammates and a strong pipeline for Pride’s services.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication with a wide variety of people.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Experience in recruiting or HR is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified candidates for openings across Pride.
  • Create and maintain job postings on Indeed and other platforms.
  • Review applications to identify strong fits.
  • Conduct interviews to understand candidates beyond resumes.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to match candidates to roles.
  • Coordinate additional interviews as needed.
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout hiring.
  • Assist selected candidates with pre-employment paperwork.
  • Orient new hires and guide them through onboarding.
  • Schedule and coordinate required training.
  • Set up new hires on Pride's online training platform.
  • Monitor training completion and follow up.
  • Conduct 7, 15, 30, 60, 90 day check-ins.
  • Share feedback with supervisors and HR.
  • Attend job fairs and community recruitment events.
  • Build relationships with schools and community organizations.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding records.
  • Identify new ways to improve recruiting and retention.

Pride is looking for a Recruiter who can help us find great people and give them a great start.

What You'll Do
  • Recruit qualified candidates for positions throughout Pride.
  • Create and maintain job postings on Indeed and other recruitment platforms.
  • Review applications and identify candidates who may be a good fit.
  • Conduct interviews and get to know candidates beyond what's written on their application.
  • Work closely with supervisors to match candidates with open positions based on their skills, experience, availability, and overall fit.
  • Coordinate additional interviews with supervisors when needed.
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist selected candidates with completing pre-employment requirements and new hire paperwork.
  • Help new team members navigate the onboarding process and make sure they know what comes next.
  • Schedule and coordinate required training.
  • Set up new hires on Pride's online training platform and assign required courses.
  • Monitor training completion and follow up when needed.
  • Conduct individual check-ins with new team members at approximately 7, 15, 30, 60, and 90 days to see how things are going, answer questions, and identify concerns early.
  • Communicate with supervisors and Human Resources regarding feedback or concerns identified during new hire check-ins.
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and other community recruitment opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations to help build our candidate pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training records.
  • Look for new and creative ways to improve recruiting, hiring, and new team member retention.

  • Is comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with supervisors and Human Resources.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Is comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, online recruiting tools, and training systems.
  • Is willing to learn about Pride's services and the important work our team members do every day.
  • Recruiting, HR, healthcare, or human services experience is preferred, but we also value transferable experience and the right personality for the position.
