Job summary

Imperial, a Villa Center is seeking a Recreational Services Aide to join their team. The role assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, physical, emotional and psychosocial programs aligned with each resident’s assessment and care plan.

The position involves leading activities, helping residents attend programs and outings, and maintaining family rapport, with emphasis on resident-centered care and teamwork within Villa Healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in a relevant role preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Implements activity programming as planned to meet residents' needs.
• Assists residents to and from activity programs and outings.
• Maintains rapport with family members and encourages family involvement.
• Provides input to assessment and evaluation of resident participation.
• Communicates residents' concerns to the supervisor.
• Supports residents' individual needs, preferences, routines and choices.
• All other duties, as assigned.
