Placements24 is seeking a diligent and skilled Recreational Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the optimal condition and safety of our client’s Leisure & Sports facilities in East London. You will lead a maintenance team, manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules, and oversee repair and upkeep projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, groundskeeping, and specialized sports equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all recreational facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring swift and effective resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or areas requiring attention.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and Leisure & Sports operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
