Placements24 is seeking an Aquatics Centre Supervisor to manage the daily operations of an East London aquatics facility. You will supervise lifeguards, maintain water quality, and coordinate programs to provide safe, enjoyable aquatic experiences for the community.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety and customer service, with flexibility for weekend and holiday hours. This is a full-time position focused on community health and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Previous supervisory experience in an aquatics or pool management setting.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience developing and managing aquatic programs is a plus.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aquatics centre, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all users.
• Supervise, train, and schedule a team of lifeguards and pool attendants.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and pool water quality standards and regulations.
• Manage pool maintenance schedules, including chemical testing and balancing.
• Develop and implement aquatic programs, including swimming lessons, water aerobics, and community events.
