This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal functioning and longevity of all mining machinery, plant equipment, and infrastructure, thereby minimizing downtime and supporting production targets. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and ensure adherence to strict safety standards within the mining environment of the Eastern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including electricians, mechanics, and fitters.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all mining equipment and plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of necessary components.
