Job summary

Anchorage Parks & Recreation is seeking a recreation supervisor to organize, develop and lead youth and adults in a range of indoor and outdoor activities. You will plan and schedule programs, set up facilities, manage equipment, and maintain records while ensuring excellent customer service.

Travel to multiple locations and perform related duties as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 6 months experience leading or teaching in recreation settings.
• Typing speed of 25 WPM and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop and supervise youth/adults in indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
• Plan and schedule activities for facilities and programs; set up equipment.
• Maintain records, collect fees, and provide excellent customer service.
• Drive to various locations and perform other related duties.
