Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, assisting in special events, collecting fees, and maintaining equipment. Must have CPR/First Aid, a Florida driver license, and a recreation-related degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field, or GED with 6 months experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid State of Florida Class "E" Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Greets internal and external customers and directs to proper entity.
• Supervises activities for various recreation programs and facilities.
• Leads groups in recreational activities and ensures safety.
• Maintains equipment and assists in event preparation.
• Collects and accounts for program fees and reports finances.
• Checks facilities for safety and reports issues.
• Occasional operation of City vehicle may be required.
• Opens, closes, and secures assigned facilities/locations.
• Establishes positive relationships with staff and the public.
