Gulfshoresal is seeking a Supervisor for Laurel Park, Nokomis Community Park, and Venice Train Depot to lead recreation programs and facilities across the county. You will direct staff, manage operations, partnerships, and events to deliver high‑quality experiences for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related field, have at least two years of supervisory and program delivery experience, and are able to ensure safety, compliance, and excellent

Qualificações

Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Leisure Services, Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field.
2 years minimum supervisory experience.
2 years minimum experience with conducting or overseeing programming for community.
CPR/AED required within 6 months of hiring.

Responsabilidades

Plan, direct, and promote a broad range of recreation programs, services, and events.
Oversee daily facility operations at Laurel Park, Nokomis Community Park, and Venice Train Depot.
Coordinate facility reservations, rentals, and shared use for maximum access.
Maintain relationships with community organizations and volunteers.
Ensure compliance with county policies and accreditations.
