Job summary

The Town of Camp Verde’s Parks & Recreation Division seeks a dedicated individual to assist in organizing and delivering recreation programs for the community, including adult and children’s programs, classes, special events, and the Heritage Pool.

Under general supervision, the employee will monitor participation, set up venues, assist with registrations and revenue paperwork, enforce safety, respond to minor injuries, and coordinate with maintenance and community partners to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Customer service and public interaction skills required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with the public.
• Experience in supervising recreation activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of recreation programs, events and activities.
• Answer questions and provide information to the public about Parks & Recreation programs.
• Monitor participation and report needs to supervisor.
• Set up and take down equipment; supervise participants; maintain venues in safe condition.
• Assist with reservations, registrations and revenue paperwork.
