Job summary

City of Buckeye is seeking three Recreation Programmer positions within the Community Services Department. These roles support programming for sports, aquatics, and outdoor recreation, assist with facility operations at Sundance Recreation Center, and coordinate special interest classes.

Under close supervision, employees will help plan, implement, and coordinate a wide range of recreation activities and events across centers, parks, and schools to serve Buckeye residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist in planning and coordinating recreation activities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Job description

The Community Services Department is hiring three (3) Recreation Programmer\ positions.\

One position will report to the Sports and Aquatics Coordinator and will be responsible for providing assistance to sports and aquatics programming. The other two positions will report to the Outdoor/SICRecreation Coordinator With Primary Job Duties Including Programmingoutdoor, nature based recreation programs, overseeing facility operations at the new Sundance Recreation Center and coordinating special interest classes.\

Under close supervision assists in the planning, implementation and coordination of a wide variety of recreation activities, programs and special events at recreation centers, parks, schools or other locations for the City of Buckeye.
