Job summary

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC is seeking a Recreation Specialist to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. The role focuses on developing and implementing recreational programs that enhance well-being for community members and staff alike.

You will plan diverse activities, coordinate events, manage logistics, ensure inclusivity, and collect data to report on participation and impact.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in Physical Education/Recreation or related field.
• Red Cross certified in first aid and CPR (both current).
• Knowledge of rules and regulations for recreational sports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and risk management in recreational settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational programs for diverse age groups.
• Develop engaging activities aligned with community interests and needs.
• Foster positive relationships with community members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with local organizations to enhance offerings.
• Oversee events, tournaments, and outings; manage logistics and equipment.
