Job summary

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC is seeking an Alternate Program Manager to support operations at FLETC in Artesia, New Mexico. The role involves acting as liaison between the Program Manager and project teams, developing project plans, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

The candidate should have at least one year of APM experience on federal contracts or similar, with familiarity in firearms operations, vehicle maintenance, scheduling, inventory, and budgets.

Qualifications

• The on-site Alternate Project Manager (APM) shall have previous experience (a minimum of one (1) year) as an APM on similar size Federal Contracts or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in government/military training environments and in management of federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the Program Manager and project team members.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating project plans.
• Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies with the Program Manager.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including safety or federal compliance concerns.
• Participate in program reviews and audits and provide improvement recommendations.
• Assist in implementing quality assurance procedures.
• Manage and coordinate key operational areas such as firearms operations, vehicle maintenance, inventory, and scheduling.
