Job summary

The Town of Edgewood is seeking a qualified individual to coordinate and expand recreational programs, events, and services under the Town Manager’s supervision. The role requires collaboration with the Parks and Recreational Advisory Board to deliver diverse opportunities for all ages.

Responsibilities include developing and managing programs, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with local policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation Management or related discipline, or Two (2) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for an Associate degree.
• Two years of experience in Recreation programs and event planning coordination.
• Possession of valid State of New Mexico Driver's license.
• Must be bondable and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain town Recreational programs, events, and services.
• Develop programs and projects to create, support, enhance and provide recreational opportunities for the public.
