Loudoun County's Parks, Recreation and Community Services are actively recruiting experienced professionals for Recreation Programmer roles. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the new center as a vibrant community hub. This comprehensive position involves developing, implementing, and managing exceptional programs specifically designed to serve our valued community members. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required and two (2) years of related work experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must undergo criminal background, credit, and DMV checks. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. For continued qualification, driving records may be reviewed annually. Within 30 days of hire, fingerprints and TB tests must be performed. A Child Protective Services (CPS) check is required; First Aid/CPR certification must be obtained within four months of hire or at the time of hire.
Work Schedule: This position requires availability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs during all facility operating hours.
