Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a Pool and Beach Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who can elevate the guest experience with strong leadership and resort knowledge. The role requires six to twelve months of restaurant or food and beverage experience, United States work authorization, and Hawaii DOH TB clearance.

Weekend and holiday availability is required; Forbes-style service is expected in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in Recreation Department to ensure standards are met.
• Be visible in operation, recognize staff, handle guest concerns and special requests.
• Ensure quality of all food & beverage items and restock/organize products and equipment.
• Quality checks all guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings for effective communication.
• Assist in areas such as food running, towels replenishment, attending or serving as needed.
• Test and coach team members on Forbes standards and training manuals to guarantee service.
• Handle guest and resident complaints to maintain service flow and guest satisfaction.

POOL AND BEACH SUPERVISOR

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Pool and Beach Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Pool and Beach Supervisor has the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Recreation Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.




• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts.




• Ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as restock and organize all products and equipment to an attentive and distinctive experience in Recreation.




• Quality checks all guests to ensure guest satisfaction.




• Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure effective communication and cooperation with staff.




• Support in all areas such as food running, replenishing towels, attending, or serving when necessary




• Test and coach all team members daily on Forbes and all standard training manuals to guarantee the finest service potential




• Handle all guest and resident complaints, concerns, and special requests while ensuring that the flow of service is efficient. Ensure all guest satisfaction is up to standard.

WHAT TO BRING

• Six to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.




• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States




• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage




• Weekend & Holiday availability required
