Job summary

Complete Care at Park Place Center is seeking a Recreation Aide to plan and lead engaging activities for residents, including those with dementia, in a supportive community setting.

The role emphasizes creativity, empathy, and teamwork, with a part-time schedule from 9am to 5pm. The environment values compassionate, patient-centered care and opportunities for growth within the activities department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous long-term care experience and able to manage patients with Dementia.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
