Job summary

Complete Care at Willow Creek is seeking a dedicated Recreation Aide. You will help plan and run activities for residents, support a caring environment, and assist in daily programs during evenings and weekend shifts.

The role emphasizes energetic, empathetic teamwork with residents and staff, plus some computer tasks and event support. Growth opportunities exist within the activities department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player.
• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Computer knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
