Job summary

Complete Care at Cedar Grove is hiring a Recreation Aide to support residents with engaging activities and events. You will implement scheduled programs, monitor behavior, and help display decorations while fostering a joyful community atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, are energetic, empathetic, and a team player. This full-time role offers weekday hours with every other weekend, plus health/dental/vision benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
