Job summary

Complete Care at Park Place is seeking a Recreation Aide who will lead engaging activities for residents and support those with dementia. You will work as part of a compassionate team to deliver planned programs and ensure a welcoming, supportive environment.

The role emphasizes empathy, energy, and collaboration with nursing staff to enhance residents’ daily quality of life. This position offers a part-time schedule with opportunities for advancement and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous long-term care experience and ability to manage patients with Dementia.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic, and a team player.
• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Computer knowledge and basic software use.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
