Job summary

Oxford Senior Living in Brooklyn seeks counselors to gain experience in the substance use and mental health field. You will provide support to patients, help keep them engaged in treatment, and lead individual/group sessions in a detox/inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining unit operations, coordinating with nursing and clinical staff, and delivering workshops. This is a full-time role with daytime hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CASAC T certification required.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Patient-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to patients to reduce barriers to treatment.
• Keep patients engaged in addiction treatment services.
• Lead individual/group sessions and run workshops.
• Maintain the detox or inpatient unit and track schedules.
• Coordinate daily with nursing, operations and clinical staff.
