Job summary

Mayflower Recovery is seeking a Recovery Counselor to lead group sessions and provide direct patient support in a fast-paced detox setting. This full-time role focuses on engaging patients, documenting care, and coordinating with clinical staff to promote treatment continuity.

The position offers benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid time off, with 40 hours weekly, Tuesday to Saturday 10 am–6:30 pm. A strong candidate has related certification and experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• 1+ year experience in substance use treatment or closely related field.
• Associate degree in behavioral health preferred; higher credential valued.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions as scheduled and provide 1-to-1 support.
• Complete patient assessments within required timelines and document thoroughly.
• Engage patients in recovery-oriented activities and support continuity of care.
