Job summary

Volunteers of America Mid-States is seeking a Recovery Support Technician/Peer Support Supervisor to assist with supervising RSTs/Peer Support Specialists in a residential setting in Manchester, KY. The role includes monitoring medication procedures, QA checks, and staff scheduling under the Program Manager.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, two years of post-secondary education preferred, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; two years post-secondary education preferred.
• Two years experience in a treatment facility and at least one year supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational control of the facility in the absence of clinical staff.
• Maintain chronologically written records of events that occur during shift.
• Maintain client and visitor sign-in/sign-out log.
• Control contraband in facility through observation and searches.
• Ensure facility cleanliness, maintenance, health and safety.
