Job summary

CHR, an employer in Enfield, CT, seeks a Recovery Support Specialist for its Adult Outpatient program. You will help clients identify recovery goals, provide coaching, and collaborate with treatment teams to develop person-centered plans.

Role requires lived recovery experience and relevant certifications; full-time, 35 hours/week, with schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm. Benefits and growth opportunities are highlighted in the CHR program.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use conditions is required.
• Certification related to recovery support (CPSRP or Recovery Coach CCAR) or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating their recovery goals.
• Use program models and motivational interventions to educate on recovery strategies.
• Conduct program assessments and create person-centered treatment plans.
