Job summary

AMI Housing, Inc is seeking a Peer Support Specialist II for the Clinic Services Team in Auburn, CA. The role provides recovery-oriented, person-centered support to clients accessing behavioral health and clinical services, drawing on lived experience to offer hope, mentorship, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with mental illness and/or substance use recovery or as a primary caregiver.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/Zoom, Google Docs, calendar access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of participants requiring intensive, community-based support.
• Build trusting relationships by modeling recovery principles and empowerment.
