Job summary

Recovery Café of Clark County (RCCC) is seeking a recovery navigator to provide one-on-one support to individuals within the criminal legal system, with outreach and long-term engagement to strengthen protective factors.

The role requires a self-starter with teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate services, travel to rural areas, document activity, and maintain confidential records in a compassionate, participant‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals facing barriers to sustained recovery or within the criminal legal system.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a Washington State Patrol background check.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to track and report program outcomes and navigate community services.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals at referral locations, build rapport, and assess needs to determine services.
• Develop and implement an individualized intervention plan and address barriers to recovery.
• Provide field-based support, travel to rural areas, and accompany when safety requires.
• Transport individuals to services and stay to provide support at appointments or hearings.
• Connect individuals to resources and coordinate services to avoid duplication.
• Understand community health and safety needs and represent participant experiences.
• Advocate to remove barriers and assist access to services.
• Link individuals to a WRAP plan for 9 weeks or until transfer to ongoing programs.
• Develop and maintain caseload files per program, contract, and state rules.
• Maintain daily documentation and contribute to weekly and monthly reports.
