Municipal Credit Union is seeking a Collateral Repossession Representative to manage the repossession life cycle for delinquent auto loans, including contact with members, collateral recovery, skip tracing, and auction oversight.

You will work with recovery agents and internal departments to protect collateral while minimizing losses, ensuring FDCPA and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with teams across the org. This full-time role requires experience and strong ethics.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years collections experience.
• Minimum two years collateral repossession and remarketing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires independent thinking.
• Available to work late nights and Saturdays.
• Highly ethical.

Aufgaben

• Contact members through multiple channels to resolve delinquencies and provide account support.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and assist members with delinquencies.
• Update system notes and maintain records of interactions and payment agreements.
• Manage the full repossession process from delinquency review to auction and sale of collateral.
• Conduct skip tracing to locate collateral and debtors.
• Coordinate voluntary surrenders and ensure proper documentation.
