Job summary

Care New England in Providence, RI is seeking a Part Time Residential Assistant for the Men's Road to Recovery program. This role involves supporting residents by providing orientation and assistance, conducting toxicology testing, and ensuring a safe living environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with substance abuse populations, and be bilingual in Spanish if possible. This position requires a valid driver’s license and offers shifts on weekends from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
• Experience working with a substance abuse population is strongly preferred.
• Candidate must have at least 4 years in recovery, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation of clients into the community.
• Conduct tours of the facility and make introductions.
• Assist in new client admissions.
• Conduct toxicology testing for all clients as instructed.
• Ensure medication procedures are followed.

Skills
