Job summary

Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking an Administrative Specialist for SUD reintegration to support clients in developing practical life and recovery skills.

The role involves facilitating group counseling, assisting with transitions from short-term to long-term care, and managing monthly reporting for the ACCESS Program. Candidates may hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field or have PRSS certification, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, or PRSS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily supportive group counseling sessions focusing on practical life and recovery skills (money management, GED prep, résumé building, interview techniques, stress management, relapse prevention).
• Work individually with consumers in short-term SUD residential treatment to prepare for transition into long-term care.
• Oversee ACCESS Program monthly reporting and ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted on time.
