Job summary

CENTER POINT, INC. is seeking a Counselor to support program participants in community reintegration and recovery, delivering individual and group services with evidence-based practices and maintaining compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with providers and agencies, promoting trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, and adhering to California Driver’s license requirements and background checks as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with substance use disorder treatment services or behavioral health systems.
• Experience with justice-involved individuals preferred.
• Experience with EHRs (SmartCare) preferred.
• Must pass a DOJ Live Scan background check.
• Must possess a current TB Test.
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group services using evidence-based and participant-centered practices.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with program standards.
• Collaborate with participants, community providers, and government agencies.
• Promote culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and gender-responsive services.
