Job summary

Baltic Street Wellness Solutions in New York, NY seeks a Program Manager to lead a clinical support team delivering peer-led recovery and trauma-informed services to individuals with mental health lived experience.

You will supervise staff, coordinate trainings, ensure compliance with DOHMH and program contracts, manage outreach, and advance community partnerships while maintaining confidential client documentation and data reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required and NYS Certified Peer Specialist certification (Active) or recertification within 5 months of hiring.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Experience working with individuals receiving behavioral health services.
• Ability to work as an effective team member.

Responsibilities

• Supervise departmental staff weekly in a staff meeting, evaluate/train onboarding new staff.
• Oversee staff daily, provide weekly individual one‑on‑one meetings.
• Approve time‑off requests, office supply orders and reschedule activities pertinent to work/client relations.
• Ensure all departmental staff members submit a timesheet monthly and receive their paychecks.
• Attend South Beach Psychiatric Center staff training, meetings, RAC/Pre‑RAC, AWARDs, and Staten Island Mental Health Counsel meetings.
• Troubleshoot HR/Provider relations/AWARDS issues and DOHMH correspondence as needed.
• Generate HCBS referrals for clients, attend site visits, audits and departmental meetings as needed.
• Perform tasks to meet service contracts and report Levels of Service to DOHMH.
