Responsibilities include facilitating groups, documenting client progress, and supporting self‑advocacy. Lived experience and NYCPS certification are required, with a HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of using mental health services and commitment to helping others recover.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• NYCPS certification is required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and hiring of peer staff; outreach to peer organizations; screen resumes and conduct interviews.
• Promote peer roles and ensure recovery‑oriented, equitable hiring practices.
• Teach daily living skills including hygiene, budgeting, meals, shopping, and cleaning.
